For Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum debaters, grades 9–12, and the parents who sign them up

A practice opponent that won’t concede your framework.

Pick the current NSDA resolution and your side. The AI takes the other side and debates a full round against you, from constructive through cross-ex and rebuttals. After each of your speeches it scores your rebuttal and writes an RFD the way a judge would.

Push back and it pushes back harder.

General chatbots agree with you as soon as you sound confident. This opponent holds its value criterion, goes after the weakest link in your case, and makes you weigh.

You, in cross-ex

A species that doesn’t exist can’t suffer, so your criterion doesn’t apply to de-extinction. Will you drop it?

AI opponent

No. Once you clone it, it exists. The ibex clone lived for minutes and died struggling to breathe. My criterion weighs that harm. Yours has to explain why repair justifies it.

You

Restorative duty is the more fundamental value, though.

AI opponent

Then weigh it. Tell the judge why a duty to a species that’s already gone outweighs harm to an animal that’s alive. You haven’t done that yet, and I’ll say so in the 1AR.

What a general chatbot usually says at that point

“That’s a great point! You’re right that restorative duty is a compelling framework.”

That feels good and teaches you nothing. At a tournament, the debater across from you won’t concede, and neither will this.

It knows LD and PF speech times, cross-ex and crossfire, how to extend an argument, and what a judge does with a dropped turn.

Full rounds, timed like a tournament.

Every speech is in tournament order and timed to NSDA speech times. Debate by voice or by text, as many rounds as you want between tournaments.

After each of your speeches, the ballot scores four things and explains its decision:

Clash

Did you answer what they actually said, or what you hoped they said?

Weighing

Magnitude, probability and timeframe, with a clear reason your impact comes first.

Extensions

Did you carry each argument through with its warrant, or only repeat the tagline?

Drops

Every argument you didn’t answer, flagged on the flow before the next speech.

Costs less than one session with a coach.

Coaches are worth it, but they cost a lot and their time is limited. FlowFoe is there the night before a tournament, on whichever side you drew.

  • Private debate coach $30–90 / session
  • FlowFoe, unlimited rounds (planned price) $19 / month

Join the waitlist. Get your first 3 months for $5.

After you join, you can pay $5 for your first three months, instead of $57. That covers unlimited rounds on every current LD and PF resolution, plus ballots and RFDs. It’s fully refundable on request at any time, and refunded automatically if FlowFoe never launches.

Questions

Which events does it cover?

Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum only, on the current NSDA resolutions. It doesn’t do policy, Congress or speech events.

What happens when the topic changes?

The new LD and PF resolutions are added when NSDA releases them, so you can prep for your next tournament on the right topic.

Voice or text?

Either one. Give your speeches out loud with the timer running, or type them when you’re prepping late.

I’m a coach. Can I get it for my squad?

A squad plan for coaches is planned for later. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when it’s available.
